About the Recipe

Ponzu is traditionally made with the juice of the Japanese "yuzu" fruit. The bottled ponzu dressing you'll find in supermarkets normally list "citrus juice" in the ingredients, not "yuzu". So, why not simply make it yourself?


4 tbsp soy sauce

4 tbsp lemon juice

4 tbsp water

2 tbsp sugar

2 tbsp sushi vinegar

(you keep any leftover dressing in the fridge for 5 - 7 days)


combine all the ingredients in a jar.  stir or shake well until all the sugar has dissolved
