About the Recipe

Most Japanese dressings resemble a vinaigrette so I made this one to. be a little different - it has a thicker consistency and is more akin to a Thousand Island dressing - because it is quite rich, it a good way of making a salad into a filling meal in its own right. I think the sesame/tahini flavours go really well with the flavour of the soy sauce. Better still, it takes only 5 minutes to prepare. Why not try this out and see if you agree?

Ingredients

2 tbsp tahini

2 tbsp mayonnaise

1 tsp soy sauce

0.5 tbsp sugar

1.5 tbsp japanese rice vinegar

1 tsp fish sauce

1 tbsp water

Preparation

put all the ingredients in a jar or bowl and mix or shake well


refridgerate any leftovers for up to 5 0 7 days
