About the Recipe
Miso and garlic just work so well together - they're flavourful and they're good for you. This dish is simple, quick and very, very tasty - need I say more?
Ingredients
400g boneless chicken thighs
1/2 tbsp veg oil
1 tbsp garlic pure
2 tbsp miso
2 tbsp japanese cooking sake
2 tbsp honteri/mirin
serve with some salad & Japanese rice
Preparation
heat the veg oil in a medium/large frying pan, fry the chicken thighs for 4 mins with a lid on
turn the chicken over and fry for a further 4 mins with a lid on
add the garlic, miso, sake & mirin to the pan and stir well
turn the chicken over a couple of times to absorb more flavour
when about 1/2 the sauce has evaporated, the chicken is ready to serve
serve with a salad & Japanese rice
